Tacoma Police Detectives Secure Additional Arrest in Homicide Case

Through continued investigation, Tacoma Police detectives developed probable cause to arrest a second adult male in connection with this homicide. On October 17, 2026, detectives took the second suspect into custody without incident and booked him into the Pierce County Jail for Murder in the first degree and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm in the first Degree.

Previously, on October 10, 2026, detectives identified and arrested an adult male suspect in relation to this case. That suspect was booked into the Pierce County Jail for Murder in the Second Degree and Unlawful Possession of a Firearm in the Second Degree.

On October 10, 2026, just after noon, officers were dispatched to the 2700 block of South Orchard Street for reports of an unresponsive male. Officers arrived on scene and located an adult male victim with apparent gunshot wounds. Tacoma Fire Department personnel arrived and pronounced the male deceased.

Detectives and Crime Scene Technicians responded and are investigating this incident as a homicide.
