A residential business involves operations conducted primarily within a dwelling space without altering its fundamental residential nature. Such activities require formal approval through a designated agreement process.
Approved agencies—including Environmental Services, Planning and Development Services, and Tax & License Compliance—will evaluate submissions to ensure community welfare standards are maintained.
Non-compliance with local regulations may result in application rejection, followed by written notification and appeal opportunities for affected parties.
Licensing approval requires submission of a signed Conditional Residential Business Agreement along with associated fees to the Tax & License office for interdepartmental review.
