Project Overview

The City of Tacoma requested and was awarded federal grant funds to assess safety and accessibility challenges created by Interstate 5 (I-5). The study will develop community-supported solutions and conceptual designs to address these challenges for people walking, biking, and rolling. Ultimately, this assessment will help to improve community connectivity and support housing and economic growth for everyone.
